The workshop on the topic “Design Thinking” was conducted on 19-02-2024. The resource person for the guest lecture was Dr. S. Geetha, Professor, BNM Institute of Technology, Bangalore. Dr. G. Aravind Swaminathan, Welcomed and Dr. E. Manohar introduced the resource person. The resource person interacted with the third year CSE students. She taught about the TYPES OF PROPERTY. She explained about design thinking. She explained about empathy, define, ideate, prototype and test. She taught about intellectual property rights. She explained the patent types, copyrights, trade marks and patent filling procedure. She elaborately explained about the intellectual property types and patent types. She taught the difference between ordinary patent and conventional patent. Dr. E. Manohar, delivered the vote of thanks. The programme was arranged and coordinated by Dr. E. Manohar.
