The workshop on the topic “Animation and Digital Media” was conducted on 06-06-2023 for the first year CSE Students. The resource person for the guest lecture was Er. Manikanda Prabhu, (Alumnus 2013 Passed Out) Animator, Studio Vivarta, Bangalore. Dr. G. Aravind Swaminathan, HOD/CSE introduced the resource person. The resource person taught about the various tools used in Animation. He told that for 2D animation they use After Effects and for 3D animation they use Maya Tool. He said that they use Adobe Premier to consolidate all the animations which was created using various tools. He said that he completed his higher studies in animation from a University in New Zealand. He shared his experience in film industry and in corporate. He explains the necessity for the graphical work in the video. He explains the animation with various scenario. He answered the questions asked by the students. Mr. K. Sivakumar, delivered the vote of thanks. The event was coordinated by Mr. K. Sivakumar and arranged by Mr. E. Manohar under the guidance of Dr. G. Aravind Swaminathan, HOD/CSE and Mr. Krishan Kumar, Director, Alumni Association.
