Webinar on Basics of PLC by Er.Siva Shankar

Er.Siva Shankar J (Alumnus 2002-2006 Batch), Proprietor - Farmagain Agro Pvt.Ltd., Tirunelveli. Alumnus 2006 Batch delivered a webinar on the topic “Basics of PLC". The resource person makes clear idea about the function of automation work in Industries and also how to improve their skill set and how to write the coding in PLC IC’s. He gave the information to the students about important of developing their core skills from various subjects like Electrical drives control, power electronics, microprocessor and microcontroller and its requirement in industries. Resource Person triggers the students and motivates them in a very passionate way. He evidently clarified about performance of automation works in industries and time saving method, and also he explained about the perfection of real time work done using PLC. He motivates the students regarding opportunities available in recent technologies. The webinar had an overwhelming response from the second year Electrical and Electronics Engineering Students from our college. This event was organized in association with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Francis Xavier Alumni Association (FXAA) of FXEC.

This event was conducted through Google meet and the event was coordinated by Mr.V.Vignesh Arumugam AP/EEE and Mr.N.V.Selvam AP/EEE.
