Technical Mentoring by Alumni for the Second Year Students

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a Technical Mentoring session for second-year students on July 13, 2024. The event featured Er. S. Abishek, a 2016 alumnus and Senior Software Engineer at Turing, USA, as the resource person. During the session, Er. S. Abishek discussed current trends in the IT industry, strategies for securing high-paying jobs, and tips for succeeding in interviews with product-based companies. He also emphasized the importance of communication skills and recommended regular practice on LeetCode. As part of the mentoring, an assignment was given to the students, and each student proposed a project title. The event was organized by Dr. G. Aravind Swaminathan and coordinated by Dr. E. Manohar.
