The guest lecture on the topic “Roadmap for the Full Stack Developer” was conducted on 16-06-2023. The resource person for the guest lecture was Er. Vennilavan R, (Alumnus 2007 Passed Out), Team Lead- Web Development, Pearson India Education Services Pvt. Ltd. Dr. G. Aravind Swaminathan, Welcomed and introduced the resource person. The resource person interacted with the first year CSE students and shared his experiences. He taught about Full Stack Development, Front End Development, Back End Development, DevOps, MEAN Stack and MERN Stack. He said that Full Stack developer is someone who is familiar with all layers of software development. He taught about the front-end software’s HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Java Script and Type Script. He explained the various Java Script Libraries and Frameworks such as React Js, Angular Js, Next.js, Vue.js, Backbone.js, Node.js and Express.js. He also taught about the various back-end development tools such as Java, PHP, C#, Python and Ruby. He explained about DevOps. He said that DevOps is a combination of software development (dev) and operations (ops). DevOps is complementary to agile software development. He explained about MERN Vs MEAN Stack Development.
