Guest Lecture on “Key Strategies and Experiences for Securing Successful Placement at TCS”

On behalf of the MCA Department, and DAWN Association, an Alumni Event was organized for II MCA students. Ms. T.Harshini (2022 Batch Alumni), Systems Engineer, TCS shared the ideas and experiences for placement at TCS. Mrs. D. Angeline Ranjithamani, HOD/MCA introduced the resource person. The resource person shared about the placement opportunities and her experiences.
It was great to see so many alumni back on campus for the guest speech. The speaker was very engaging and shared some great ideas. He also had great advice for the students.
Here are some tips about the Placements :
- Learn key OOP concepts, including classes and objects, to prepare for placements.
- Cover basic aptitude topics and focus on verbal and reasoning skills for TCS placement preparation.
- Ensure your resume is clear and concise when preparing for the TCS interview.
- Be honest in your responses and maintain a positive attitude during the interview.
- Fill out the application form carefully to avoid any errors.
- Know the fundamentals and logic of multiple programming languages, but develop strong proficiency in at least one.
- Be adaptable to learning and using any programming language based on the company's requirements.
Overall, it was a great event and the students appreciated the opportunity to interact with alumni and found the session highly informative and insightful. The event was coordinated by Mrs. J. Anciline Jenifer, AP/MCA.
