The Department of ECE conducted Alumni Guest lecture by Er.S.Arunkumar (2009 passed out), his designation is Manager,Renault Nissan DAC under the guidance of Dr Mrs.J.Friska, HOD/ECE. The primary goal of this program for students is to equip them with the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to make informed career choices and successfully transition from education to the workforce. The program's primary objectives are:
- Self-Exploration: Help students understand their interests, strengths, values, and passions, allowing them to gain insight into their personality and potential career paths that align with their attributes.
- Career Exploration: Provide students with exposure to various career options, industries, and job roles, enabling them to explore and understand the diversity of opportunities available.
- Skill Development: Offer opportunities for students to develop essential soft skills (communication, teamwork, problem-solving, leadership) and hard skills (technical, analytical, industry-specific) that are valued by employers.
- Goal Setting: Assist students in setting clear and achievable career goals, both short-term and long-term, and creating a roadmap to attain those objectives.
- Education and Training Guidance: Provide information about different educational paths, training programs, and certifications required for specific career fields or job roles.
- Networking and Mentorship: Facilitate opportunities for students to connect with professionals, mentors, and alumni who can provide guidance, support, and valuable insights into their chosen career paths.
- Resume Building and Interview Preparation: Teach students how to create effective resumes, cover letters, and online profiles, and provide interview coaching to enhance their chances of landing internships or jobs.
- Job Search Strategies: Educate students on various job search methods, including online job portals, networking events, and career fairs, to help them actively pursue employment opportunities.
- Workplace Etiquette: Educate students on workplace norms, professional conduct, and ethics to ensure they can adapt smoothly to a professional environment.
- Lifelong Learning: Instill a sense of the importance of continuous learning and upskilling throughout their careers, encouraging students to remain adaptable in a rapidly changing job market.
